the weekends are here! and yes, i finally cleared my first posting.
so working in
tan tock seng was indeed a wonderful experience. one week feels like one day, no? okay, maybe not when the patients do not bother you at all. but when they do, you'll even forget that it's time to break fast already.
what i'm trying to say is, two weeks just passed by really fast. and i'm glad that i've gained much more than i'd expected. all thanks to the
SNs,
ANs and the
HCAs. they're not as bad as i thought they would be after all.
and my patients, they're simply amazing plus supportive too. they can sing, joke and laugh out loud, they really don't look like they're suffering from COPD or Angina. and then there's one who kept apologising to me each time he asked for a urinal. cos he thinks he's troubling me. how cute.
but not all were like that laa. i've got some difficult patients too, like him who insisted on going to the toilet when he's on IV drip and another him who keep asking for a drink when he has dysphagia.
yes, the relatives are another. they can bombard you with tonnes of questions that you simply can't answer. i mean, c'mon, year 1 students don't know much right? well, at least i know i don't.
still, i survived
given the super powers i had with the help of the pretty people around me of course. and talking about pretty people reminds me of the Burmese doctor and the two guys whom i saw in cubicle 6 last Thursday. i know my colleagues know you don't have to know. =)
hot guys is love!okay, looks like i'm missing
ward 8C already. i'll miss everything and anything except for two, the oh-so-longwinded
clinical facci and the grumpy
cleaner auntie who acts as if everyone owes her a living.
if you ask me to choose, i'd rather change diapers or assist my patient for shower than having to face the both of them.
but it's okay, everything's over now. =)
and i have school to attend on Monday. is that gooood news or what?
