Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.
long way to go.

it has been a challenging week with many obstacles along the way. whoever said life's easy? but hey, i did enjoy some parts. this is gonna be a looooong post, so please bear with me okaay?

SATURDAY, 20th Jan. yes, i had spent my afternoon in TP. cool, vibrant campus. the open house was very 'happening' i must say. they make me feel like an O level student once again. wee! and i love the guides' tee laa. especially yours, Syaza!

okaay, you must be thinking.. just what in the world i was doing over there. well, i had intended to catch Hady Mirza BUT eventually missed it. i ended up just lunching and walking around (remember the toilet incident, Sheil? LOL.), patiently waiting for Syaza to book out.

met some familiar faces whilst in TP, too. people like Emi, Farah and Zul. talking of which reminds me, i saw him waving at someone. but i didn't know that someone was me. and it took me quite sometime to respond. i feel so selenge sehh.

so anyway after that both Syaza and me went to work. the bus ride was butt-torturing laa sehh. we didn't expect the journey to be long. well at least, not THAT long. we came in late, but who cares (:

today's work was a lot of fun, what with nine part-timers having to get-together on the same day. we get to eat good leftovers, from shark fin's soup to satay to ice cream puffs. and as if that's not enough, we took the dishes like ayam masak merah and eat it with rice.

so then while waiting for our pay, we gossipped, we laughed. and i can't stop laughing at the way Aunt laughed. so funny can?

SUNDAY, 21st Jan.
work again today, but this time we were under Sunarto. been kept busy throughout the whole 4 hours, topping up drinks and clearing plates. and i really hate the sight of the-woman-in-track-shoes, she really gets on my nerves sometimes. but apart from that, work was okaay. infact it was great, cos my girls were down today. so, yay!

FRIDAY, 26th Jan.
the second meet-up for the DW besties this week. the first was on the tuesday, after our shift ends. we had arranged to meet at City Hall (it was close to 10pm already, mind you) and LJS-ed there, in our nursing uniform. haah.

okaay back to friday. Taufik came down to NYP! the 3 of us went for the concert, despite knowing that we were late for half and hour. previously, Eerah and me had gone home after leaving TTSH to change since we did last office in the afternoon.

anyhows, we still get to catch Taufik perform okaay. and as you can see from the picture (above), Dilah get to take picture with him! simply because she bought his new album. pfft.

after the concert, we headed down to Causeway Point to have our dinner (:

SATURDAY, 27th Jan.
in the afternoon, i dragged myself to school (yet again!), this time to catch the Hip Hop Hunt dance competition. after that, both me and Syaza went over to PRCS to meet the boyfriend who apparently has friendly match at 3.

thought of going to Kallang with Syaza but didn't, since Afiq was already waiting for her there. went with boyfriend and co. and we only gathered at Pasir Ris at 7.30pm? haah. we had reached the stadium just in time for the match and then An claimed he misplaced the tickets. everyone was so mad already laa. after seeing all the worried faces he broke into laughter, and took out the 8 slips of paper.

tak kelakar sehh, An!

so when we came in, thousands were already seated. somehow i felt i was going for NDP, many came clad in red or white, some complete with banners with the words 'Singapore' written on it. very patriotic ahh.

and we were like the noisiest bunch around? haah. we scream, we shout, we eat, we drink. yeahh, we brought food from home.

oh well, i love today (:

and time just flies so fast, tomorrow is work already. 2 weeks left to go. i hope i will be strong enough to go through all these. and i'm not giving up just yet.

ayuuu!
