Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.

So school term has started. Nothing much has changed, only that the school's flooded with lots of new faces all over the place. And i feel so popular now that wherever i go, someone will stop to say "Hi!". haha.

Maybe that's the good thing about being a part of the orientation last week. I get to make many good friends. Ohh, minus the Squidwart family, of course. I don't know why but i am always mistaken for a cheena. They thought my name was Sery spelled with an -ene at the back. They claimed i looked just like another one of them; fair-skinned. I guess that should explain how i ended up befriending with mostly cheenas as shown in the picture below. But they certainly make great company. (:

Well i must say that checking out the newbies entering the course was the most fun part of all. Cos looking at them just brings back memories of how all of us were back then. I could recall vividly how everyone around me looked so lost, while some appeared so cold and unfriendly. And i myself looked so much like an idiot (who has totally no idea how she got herself into nursing in the first place) i wished i could just make myself invisible then. Haha.

And talking of which reminds me, while conducting my game i spotted this guy who looked so familiar. I know he used to be in SKSS, but i just can't recall his name. And i actually flipped through my school magazine the moment i got home to see if i had gotten the right guy, and true enough it was him. He doesn't look like the sort who would join nursing. Oh well, i don't too, so who cares right?

So anyway, it's coming to the third day of my year three and i'm slowly digesting the fact that i have not the usual three but ten, i repeat, TEN ICAs to be completed and a skills theory and practical to go through in another 3 weeks' time. And come mid August it'll be our exams and then we'll be sent out for clinical from my birthday onwards. Sad kan? And as if that's not enough, we're having our PRCP (which means you can see my face in TTSH for three good months!) from November all the way til January next year. thanks ahh NYP!

Okay, maybe i shouldn't make it sound so bad. I just have to look on the brighter side. Cos as far as i'm concerned, we girls are having fun in school right now. Like this one here.

This was taken during our lab session just now. We were taught on how to do a plaster cast and later were allowed to do a hands-on. All of them decided to be the one getting their arms "fractured". Whereas for me, i played nurse and i did on both Thiri and Ikli. Hehe.

After school i surprised Hilman when i appeared at his workplace today. Brought Munchy Donuts along. Sorry i had to lie to you, but i hope it did cheer you up.

Anyway, happy 17th! (:

So that's it for now, shall continue sometime tomorrow. Anyway, to Sheil, hope you like the birthday surprise! (:
